Kenya: Potholes Hold Up Business

Laikipia county residents have complained about the deplorable roads, which have been rendered impassable by the rains. They said they are unable to transport their farm produce to the market.

Speaking to the press at Karandi trading centre in Laikipia, the residents' spokesman Richard Mburu yesterday said the roads have big potholes and trenches have been left bare by the water runoff. He said the state of the road has made it difficult to access crucial services such as health centres and markets.
