A 7-year-old boy who was abducted by suspected Turkana raiders two days ago has been killed. In an interview with the Star yesterday West Pokot county commissioner Peter Okwanyo confirmed the killing and asked residents at the West Pokot- Turkana border to remain calm as the government finds ways of solving border disputes.
"This is a very unfortunate situation because the raiders are now killing innocent people without even stealing cattle. We are pursuing the motive behind the frequent killings before the situation gets out of hand," he said.
