Tunisia: After Suspension, Salvation Front Announces Participation in National Dialogue

Tunis — Taking note of Prime Minister Ali Larayedh's message to Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) Secretary-General Houcine Abassi, the Salvation Front announced acceptance of the missive's content.

According to the Republican Party leader Mongi Ellouz, the Salvation Front political council will announce shortly, its acceptance of the content of the message and participation in national dialogue.

In a message sent to Mr. Abassi, the Prime Minister reasserted on Friday his position to implement the Quartet's initiative.

The Salvation Front suspended, on Thursday, their participation in national dialogue until the government undertakes "clearly" to resign, in compliance with the roadmap.
