Eritrea: Inhabitants of Metkel-Abet Area to Enhance Participation in National Development Programs

Ginda — The inhabitants of Metkel-Abet Administrative area, Ginda sub-zone, said that they would enhance participation in national development programs, in addition to promoting effective utilization of social service facilities.

Speaking at a meeting with the inhabitants, Mr. Omar Yahiya, Administrator of Ginda sub-zone, called on parents, Area administrators, community elders and teachers to exert joint efforts for greater impact on educational programs. He also called for prudent use of health facilities, and discussed with the participants regarding the establishment of wood enclosure and construction of water diversion canals.
