Kenya: KNUT Faults Govt Over Free Laptops Project

The Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) has faulted the govt for failing to carry out capacity building for teachers ahead of implementation of the ICT programme in schools next year.

KNUT acting secretary general Mudzo Nzili says the govt should speed up the training of more than 60,000 teachers as part of the first phase of the project which kicks off in January. Nzili says the union fully supports the laptops project
