Lubansenshi Independent Member of Parliament Patrick Mucheleka says the Zambian people are slowly losing patience over the constitution making process.
Mucheleka said the lack of clarity in the process as the government had refused to commit to a roadmap is causing apprehension.
"I think the public is now running out of patience over the delay in the constitution making process. In the first place we were told June without even soliciting for that but June came and passed, July, August, and September and now October and there still is no clear message," he said.
"The final draft should have been released a long time ago but they seem to have taken the citizenry for granted. They will pay for their behaviour one day."
Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba recently said the way forward on the constitution would depend on available resources stressing that there no allocation from the 2014 budget but the process will have to depend on donours.
