Military Spokesman Colonel Ahmed Ali denied that Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister and Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Colonel General Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi had commented on Egypt's television satirist Bassem Youssef's program that was aired for the first time on Friday night since the ouster of president Mohamed Morsi on July 3.

In a statement on Sunday 27/10/2013, the military spokesman affirmed that el-Sisi did not give remarks about the program and denied claims by some websites about el-Sisi's statements in this respect.
