Kenya: 'Bob' Stoned, Injured By Neighbours

A monkey who was two years ago rescued by a dog from a forest in Mtongwe-Petuko in Mombasa county is nursing injuries. Bob, as the monkey is called by the owner Mohamed Abdul Kuria, had his left hind leg hurt after he was stoned by neighbours a week ago.

Bob is now two years old. He was rescued by Jacqueline, the dog, when it was only one week old in 2011. The pair attracted visitors to Kuria's homestead who wanted to see how 'mother and daughter' who are of different species lived together.
