Kenya: Standard Six Pupil Committs Suicide in Butula.

A primary school pupil from Butula sub-county committed suicide at the weekend. Lencan Owino, who was a standard six pupil in Bukhakhala Primary School hanged himself using a rope in their house. He did not leave behind a suicide note. His mother, Jecinta Anyanjo, a widow and a mother of six, said prior to his death, Owino had been saying he was tired of life.

His body was moved to Busia County Referral Hospital mortuary for postmortem. Police said they have launched investigation into the incident.
