Sudan: Vice-President Inaugurates Number of Services' Projects in Kassala State

Kassala — Vice - President of the Republic, Dr. Al-Haj Adam, inaugurated in his visit to Kassala State Wednesday the water stations in western and eastern Al-Gash. Meanwhile, the Director of the Urban Planning and Public Utilities in Kassala State, Abdul-Malik Hassan Abdul-Gadir, said that the state has worked out a comprehensive strategy for solving the water projects at all the localities in the state.

The General Director of the Drinking Water Corporation, Resident Engineer Al-Qasim Abdul-Latif, said that the two water stations were implemented by the Japanese Konte company at the cost of 17.7 million dollars through aid from the government of Japan a local component of six million pounds from the federal government and 1.750 million pounds from Kassala State government.
