Nigeria: Osun Govt to Treat Christians, Muslims Equally

Osogbo — The Osun State government has reiterated its commitment to treat all religions and their groups in the state equally and charged adherents of all religions to live together in harmony.

State Commissioner for Regio-nal Integration and Special Duties, Alhaji Ajibola Basiru, at a press conference in Osogbo, justified the decision of the state government to declare a public holiday for the celebration of Hijirah 1435.
