Egypt: Constitution Body Ratifies Articles On Media, Press Freedoms

The fifty-strong committee entrusted with amending the nation's 2012 suspended constitution ratified articles that have been long-defended by journalists and media persons.

According to the new amendments and for the first ever time, publication of newspapers will be carried out through notification, not permission.
