Nairobi — The Kenya Editors Guild and the Kenya Correspondents Association have raised concern over the controversial media Bill, saying the proposed hefty fines were a threat to growth of the media industry in Kenya.
Editors Guild Vice Chairman David Ohito termed the fines of up to Sh20 million for media houses as absurd, saying they will lead to the closure of small firms.
