Kenya: Fruit Firm Set for Malindi

KILIFI A multimillionshilling ultramodern fruit processing factory will be opened at Msabaha in Malindi constituency next March. The construction will be sponsored by Industrial and Commercial Development Corporation.

Speaking to journalists at the site yesterday, ICDC board chairman Martin Muragu said the project will cost more than Sh500 million. MP Dan Kazungu expressed satisfaction in the progress at the project. "The objective is to ensure we use local materials," said Muragu.
