Kenya: Girls Asked to Stop Early Sex

4 November 2013

EMBU Girls have been advised to refrain from early sex to avoid contracting cervical cancer. Medics and cancer survivors asked the girls to live a positive live.

They participated in a cancer testing and awareness forum organised by the Oasis of Life, an NGO, at Kanagaru Boys High School on Saturday. One of the medics, Esther Faith Kimani, said most of the women infected with cervical cancer started having sex earlier in life.
