Kumasi — DR. KWAME Amoako Tuffuor, former Chief Executive officer of the Ghana School Feeding Programme in the erstwhile Kufuor regime and close Associate of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo, the 2012 flag bearer of the Opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has hinted that he is very much convinced that the two time flag bearer will contest the 2016 elections.

The NPP guru said Nana Addo's third term bid is automatic and that Nana Addo is fit and ready enough to become the best President Ghana will ever produce to lead Ghanaians to the "promised land".

According to him, Nana Addo had not openly told him he will contest again but looking at his demeanor and posture while in abroad and his visits to party members and faithful towards the unity in the party, outside Ghana being paramount meant he is preparing to come again.

Dr. Amoako Tuffuor noted that as an astute politician, Nana Addo could not take a rest and decide not to contest again. "Even his body language and chemistry is enough indication that he has no choice than to respond to the calls on him to come back to politics," he said, adding the people of this country are waiting for him and would count on him to even vote.

The former School feeding programme exponent told Host, King Edward, during a morning show on HELLO FM, a local private Radio station in Kumasi, the former NPP flag bearer has elevated Ghana by demonstrating to the world that Ghana is a democratic country. He said Nana Addo is a man of his words and for that matter did not believe he is ready to disappoint his supporters at the time he is much needed for the country. Asked whether Nana Addo was comfortable about the verdict of the election petition, Dr. Amoako Tuffuor replied in the negative saying it was accepted in principle.

"I wonder if Nana Addo was comfortable with the verdict. He only considered the interest of the people to move the nation's democracy forward, hence his taking such a stance to ensure peace and stability among the citizenry.
