Kenya: Two Kisii Schools Sit Exams Four Hours Late

PANIC gripped two secondary schools in Kisii county after KCSE exams were delayed for four hours. Kisii School and Nyabururu Girls High School candidates' examination papers were missing from the armoury at Kisii police station. The exams were later traced to Kisumu North district. By 11am yesterday the papers had not arrived at the schools.

The Biology Paper II and Agriculture Paper II examinations were to start at 8am. "There was a mix up and the papers have been traced. By now, I'm sure students are doing the exams," Kisii county Education director Kochora Chepe told the Star on the phone. Nyabururu principal Elmelda Ochenge referred inquiries to the Ministry of Education saying the issue was sensitive.
