Kenya: Kiambu Public Schools Top Pupils Get a Treat

Kiambu town MP Jude Njomo yesterday sponsored an educational tour for top public primary schools performers in the constituency. Njomo said ythe tour was meant to motivate the schools for better grades. "Appreciating anyone who does well makes them aim higher for exemplary scores. I will always take best performers on educational trips to encourage others to work harder," he said.

Njomo said education standards in Kiambu have gone down. He said all stakeholders should come together and help lift the standards. "We need to come up as stakeholders even if by sponsoring an educational trip for all best performers and best improved pupils in Kiambu public primary schools. I pray and believe that this years' performances will hit the apex," said Njomo.
