The Makueni government has set aside Sh1.35 billion to improve the county's healthcare, Governor Prof Kivutha Kibwana has said. Speaking to journalists in his office yesterday, Kibwana said the money will be used to buy drugs and medical equipment, and improve working conditions for health workers.
Kibwana led his deputy Angelina Mwau and county Health executive Mulwa Mutava on a visit of Makueni District Hospital in Wote town yesterday morning.
