Nigeria: FG Closes Bids for 10 NIPP Power Plants Today

Lagos — Today marks the end of submission of bid applications for the 10 new power plants built under the National Integrated Power Project.

The Managing Director, Niger Delta Power Holding Company, James Olottu, who disclosed this in Lagos while commissioning the 75MVA injection substations in Magodo, Ogba Ijaye and Abule Egba areas of the state, said the closure of the bids is in line with the timetable for the privatization of the assets in order to engender transparency in the process.
