Kenya: Alarm Over Cow Disease

NAROK Farmers in Ogwedhi market on the border of Migori and Narok counties have complained of a strange disease killing their livestock.

David ole Lesele, a farmer, said he has lost three cows to the disease. "The disease dries cattle skin and removes hair before the hide falls off like dry banana backs," he said. He was speaking in Migori county yesterday.
