THE Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops has raised concerns over devolution. The KCCB chair John Cardinal Njue on Thursday said they support the process. He however warned against emerging trends of corruption, nepotism and unjustifiable spending in various county offices.
In a statement signed by Njue and 26 other bishops after a meeting in Ukweli Pastoral Centre in Kisumu, the bishops said counties might be turned into political battle grounds instead of being developed.
