Nairobi — Demand for digital television sets has more than tripled as customers rush to beat the digital migration deadline. According to Nakumatt Holdings, retail sales data captured in the last six months ending October shows the range of Samsung TVs featuring inbuilt DVB-T2 tuners hit sales of up to Sh30 million monthly.
Managing Director Atul Shah said the highest sales growth for such digital TV's has been recorded around Nairobi region with Mombasa, Kisumu and Nanyuki branches following closely.
