Tunisia Best Among Arab Spring Nations in Women's Rights - Thomson Reuters Foundation Survey

Tunis — Tunisia was ranked 6th out of 22nd Arab states in an expert poll on women's rights in the Arab world compiled by Thomson Reuters Foundation.

The export poll, whose results were published on Tuesday, ranked Tunisia best among Arab Spring nations with women holding 27 percent of seats in national parliament, contraception legal, but polygamy spreading and inheritance laws biased towards males...
