Kenya: 'Kneel Before Me,' Muthama Told Mutua

"Kneel before me," Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama allegedly told Governor Dr Alfred Mutua last year. Mutua, in an affidavit filed in court, claims Muthama does not like him because he refused to kneel down.

"He told me at a meeting at the Panafric Hotel during the election campaign period that he would never support my plans since I did not kneel down before him and seek his permission as kingmaker of Ukambani before declaring my candidature," Mutua said.
