Kenya: Kongowea Traders to Have Lights

Nyali MP Awitio Bolo on Tuesday announced plans to expand the Kongowea market. Bolo also pledged instal street lights in the market to enhance security. The traders lamented the darkness in the market, coupled with the little space that they have to operate with has formed a good breeding ground for criminals.

Speaking during a Kongowea market stakeholders meeting at the market on Tuesday, Bolo said they have already identified a piece of land adjacent to the market that they want to buy off.
