Logistics company, DHL, has launched a new airside facility in Dakar, Senegal and added three aircrafts. Senior marketing and communications manager in Sub-Saharan Africa Lee Nelson said the Boeing 757 and two ATR72s are meant to meet the demand for express and freight services in West Africa.
DHL Express Sub-Saharan Africa operations vice president Oliver Facey said in a statement that many African countries require improved infrastructure and capacity to cope with the rising demand for the transportation of goods across emerging markets.
