MALINDI Nets and Barclays Bank "Eagles" have qualified for the national Division One League. The two teams made a huge leap when they battled in the finals of the Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) provincial play-off finals at the Makande Welfare Hall over the weekend.
Nets beat BBK 44-27 to emerge winners in an event which attrcated a total of 14 teams. In the semi-final matches, Malindi Nets beat Dankind Academy 30-21 while BBK got the better of Africa Nazarene University (ANU)--winning 36-33.
