Farmers at Lusoi in Kieni East sub-county, Nyeri have protested elephants destroying their crops. The farmers on Tuesday marched waving destroyed cabbages, tomatoes and maize at Lusoi village.
They called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to intervene and ensure that the animals are contained. The farmers said they have lost millions of shillings due to numerous raids by the animals.
