Three Kenya Defence Forces soldiers have denied robbery with violence charges when they were arraigned at the Kibra court today. The three soldiers denied robbing two people in separate incidents before Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi, and also returned a not guilty plea to counts of possession of firearms and another count of possession of ammunition.
Ochoi granted them Sh1 million bail each despite an application by prosecution to have the three remanded. Their defence lawyer however said that they will honour their court summons. Still at the courts, two Nigerian citizens have been remanded on suspicion of trafficking narcotics.
