Kenya: U.S, Britain Explain Their Abstention At UN Vote

Nairobi — The United States, Britain and France now say that Africa's push for the deferral of the Kenyan ICC cases should be put before the Assembly of States Parties due to start in The Hague on Wednesday.

In a statement, Britain's UN envoy Mark Lyall Grant said that during the meeting, time will be devoted to addressing the African Union's concerns.
