The United Nations Security Council on Friday (November 15th) rejected an African resolution to suspend the International Criminal Court (ICC) trials of Kenya's president and deputy president for one year.
The resolution was the biggest challenge yet to the trials of President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto, who are accused of fomenting political unrest after the 2007 elections.
