The minister of Former Combatants and Veterans of the Homeland, Kundi Paihama, reiterated last Saturday in Lubango City, southern Huila Province, the need for former combatants to elevate their patriotic consciousness and educate the youth, as well as other ex-soldiers.
The government official was delivering a speech at the closing ceremony of the first South Regional Seminar on Staff Training in the provinces of Huíla, Namibe, Cunene and Kuando Kubango, which took place under the theme "In dignifying former combatants and veterans of the homeland, let us reinforce the institutional capacity in this sector.
