South Sudan: Juba and its Partners Initiate Gun-Free Campaign

Juba — South Sudan government and scored of its development partners on Friday initiated a 'Community Security Caravan'; an initiative which sensitizes civilians on the dangers of misusing small arms and light weapons.

The campaign, a joint initiative by the country's Community Security and Small Arms Control (CSSAC) Bureau and United Nation Development Programme's (UNDP) Community Security and Arms Control (CSAC) project, is implemented with financial support from the European Union, Japan and United Kingdom governments.
