Angola: Candidates to Miss Angola 2014 Start Arriving in Luanda

Luanda- The candidates to the 2014 Miss Angola beauty contest, whose total is 21 contestants, last Monday started to arrive in Luanda, the province that will host the gala on December 14.

Speaking to ANGOP, the operations director of the Miss Angola Committee, Madalena Ferreira, informed that it is only missing the arrival of the candidates from the provinces of Huambo and Uíge, as well as those representing the Angolan communities in Germany and the United States.

Before the event, the candidates will fulfill a programme outlined by the organizers, which include lessons on etiquette, posture, moving on the catwalk, physical education, history, geography and literature, as well as visit orphanages, shelter homes for the elderly, among other places.
