Liberia: Salvaging a Relationship - Sime Darby and Liberia Locals Smoke Peace Pipe

The people of Senni Town in Grand Cape Mount County, beamed with excitement on their faces as the government of Liberia, Green Advocates and the management of the Sime Darby plantation dedicated a new primary school on Thursday November 21, 2013.

The dedication of the school comes after a long struggle between the locals and the palm oil giant, but with the help of Green Advocates an environmental advocacy group based in Liberia, the people and the plantation seems to be working closely in harmony.
