THE Busia government wants to know how a contractor was paid Sh13 million for services not rendered. County Roads executive Gregory Odeke said the contractor was paid by a sugar miller.
"How can one be paid money for doing nothing? Such contractors should be prosecuted for dishonesty," he said. Odeke was speaking during a forum at Hotel Itoya in Busia on Thursday. He said the supervision of local roads by Kenya Rural Roads Authority and Kenya Urban Roads Authority is wanting and urged them to seek experts.
