Khartoum — Ten people died and another 36 are infected with yellow fever in South and West Kordofan states. The numbers, provided by the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation were measured between 2 October and 10 November.
To date, suspected cases of the disease have been registered in 10 localities in South and West Kordofan. The UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said in its latest news bulletin that the case fatality rate of the disease is now 27.8 per cent.
