Kenya: Machakos Ready to Play Ball With New Stadium

Rehabilitation of Kenyatta stadium has been completed to international standards ahead of the Cecafa championships which kicks off today. The national team harambee stars will use the stadium as their home ground during the championships.

The stadia now has a capacity for 10,000 people with a new surface said to be the best in the country and is also complete with cctv surveillance cameras. "There are 40 cctv cameras covering all the stands and the changing rooms are built to international standards" Governor Alfred Mutua said.
