Liberia: I Had Not Died - Ellen Dispels Rumors

President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has dispelled rumors that she had died while on an official visits outside of the country recently.

"Like Jesus I'm resurrected and more than ever prepared to lead my people," Madam Sirleaf told a cheering crowd.

Of late, there were wide spread rumors in Monrovia that President Johnson-Sirleaf had died while on an official visits out of the country.

President Johnson-Sirleaf, who returned home on Friday, November 29, visited Kuwait, United Arab Emirate(UAE) and Brussels for an official visits.

The President dispelled the rumors of her death over the weekend when she toured a number of completed projects and others earmarked to start during this dry season.

The tour took the President to the proposed Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, the Somalia Drive Highway, Du Paort Road, Logan Town, Brewersville and the Caldwell Bridge.

She was accompanied by contractors and Public Works Ministry and other government officials.
