Mozambique: National Health Week Launched

Maputo — Mozambique's First Lady, Maria da Luz Guebuza, on Tuesday presided, at the Bagamoyo Health Centre in Maputo, at the official launch of the second phase of National Health Week, aimed at children under the age of five and women of reproductive age.

This phase will last until Friday, and covers the entire country. The Health Ministry hopes to vaccinate four million children under five against measles, provide them with vitamin A supplements, and deworm them with a dose of the anti-parasite drug mebendazole.
