Nigeria: Abuja Centenary City - Anyim Promises Compensation to Land Owners

The secretary to the government of the federation, Sen Anyim Pius Anyim, has disclosed that the proposed Abuja Centenary City Project will not commence until compensation of land owners by the Federal Capital Territory Administration is completed.

Anyim said this yesterday when he appeared before the House of Representatives' Ad hoc Committee investigating all cases of land racketeering, mass housing scheme and land swap policy in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
