Nigeria: PDP/APC Merger - 'No Sure-P Beneficiary Would Be Replaced'

Ilorin — Kwara State Coordinator of Subsidy Re-Investment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P) Mr. Moses Ibiyemi has allayed fears of 3,500 beneficiaries of the programme in the state that they would not be sacked due to last week's defection of their leaders from the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) into the All Progressive Congress(APC).

It was gathered that some beneficiaries and local government council coordinators of the SURE-P trooped the state office of the programme in Ilorin to enquire about their fate over the current political situation in the state.
