Kenya: Suneka Residents Protest Loss of CDF Money

RESIDENTS of Suneka in Bonchari constituency yesterday demonstrated against alleged misuse of Sh23 million from the CDF kitty. They said the money was allocated to various projects in the constiituency by former MP Zebedeo Opore last year but no project has been implemented.

The former immediate MP allocated the money to various projects and bursary for needy students but no money was used. They were led by former Suneka and Gusii council chairmen Simeon Ondigi and David Nyakoi. Ondigi said the Ethics and Anti-corruption Agency should probe the loss.
