MORE than 150 nurses at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) in Lusaka have been dismissed for taking part in an illegal strike.
The nurses, who have been pressing for salary increments from the current K2, 900 for the least paid to K10, 000 per month as take-home pay, have been served with letters of dismissal dated December 2, 2013 which were first distributed on Monday while others were issued yesterday.
