Western Sahara: Wilaya of Boujdour Hosts African Conference On Women's Role in Liberation Movements

Boujdour — An African conference on women's role in the liberation movements will be held from 6th to 8th December in the Wilaya of Boujdour, Saharawis refugee camps, in the presence of delegations of several African states, said a statement of the Saharawis Women Union.

This confernce will invoke the experiences of some revolutions that paved the way for the liberation of considerable parts of the African continent, said the statement.

It will also be an opportunity to create a space for the exchange of experiences on many common topics and interests, added the statement.

On 7th December, participants of this conference will stage in front of the Moroccan Wall of Shame, as a form of support to the International Campaign to denounce the Wall.

The next day, participants will organize a platform of solidarity with the Saharawis woman in the occupied Western Sahara.
