Nigeria: Reps Insist On U.S.$79 Per Barrel Oil Benchmark

Members of the House of Representatives yesterday insisted on $79 per barrel oil benchmark for the 2014 budget despite efforts by the presidency to persuade them to accept $76.5, Daily Trust learnt.

This was the decision of most lawmakers at a close-door meeting held at the House chamber yesterday, Daily Trust learnt.
