Sudan: Al-Tahir - Farewell to Minister Is Indicator for Change at Legislature

Khartoum — Chairman of the Legislature and Speaker of the National Assembly, Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Tahir, said that farewell given to the federal ministers at the Council of Ministers Tuesday poses indicator that the change in the executive authority would be followed by change in the legislature so that the change can be a comprehensive one.

He expected the new ministers to be more efficient and youthful, referring to arrangements at the National Congress complying with the general trend of the state for realizing reform, a matter that would have positive effect on the security and economic situation in the state.
