Liberia: Cellcom Introduces New Promotion

With the introduction of value added services through the proffering of innovative and affordable communication to the Liberian people, the management of Cellcom Telecommunications Incorporated on Tuesday introduced a new promotion that is geared towards lighting subscribers' Christmas.

The new promotion, styled "A flight to New York City by means of dual SIM phone purchase," afford subscribers the opportunity to win a raffle ticket to travel to the United States with accommodation and a Christmas shopping of one thousand United States dollars each to winners.

Speaking to a team of journalists in Monrovia, Aaron Glay; Cellcom GSM Corporate Store Manager explained that the promotion is intended to provide subscribers the opportunity to realize their American dream.

Mr. Glay said Cellcom has also introduced a Christmas bonus through the purchase of recharge cards. He said Cellcom is giving 700 bonuses through electronic transfer service on every dollar scratch card, and 500 bonuses through the recharge card.

Glay indicated that subscribers also have the option to choose between the electronic transfer and the recharge card.

However, Glay said the cost of the dual SIM phone is US$15.00 and subscribers purchasing the phone SIM card will be automatically registered and issued a ticket for the raffle draw.

He indicated that Cellcom innovation has rescued Liberians, adding that the promotion is geared towards partnership at which the company gives back to Liberians.

He explained that the company over the years changed the lives of thousands of Liberians through several beneficial promotions including the win 100 motorbikes in 100 days, football treasure, back to school campaign, equip your home campaign where winners' houses were equipped, the unlimited free call campaign, where subscribers have the opportunity to make free calls to three designated locations, USA, India and China, the 3 days free calls and the million dollar Campaign at which time 10 winners received over US$10,000 each, among others.
