Nigeria: North-East Governors to Raise Agric Vote to 10 Percent

Gombe — The six states in the north east have agreed to raise votes for agricultural sector from an annual average of four to 10 percent.

This will see the annual budget for the sector for the six states of Bauchi, Borno, Yobe, Gombe, Adamawa and Taraba increase from an average of N24 billion to over N60 billion.
